Graduated in Political Science at the University of Pisa, she obtained a specialization in Journalism and Mass Communication at Luiss.
Since 1977 she has worked in the world of commercial television, which she entered with the appointment of Secretary General of FIEL, the first association of “free” broadcasters. She then moved to FRT – Federazione Radio Televisioni – as Director until 1990, the year in which she joined the FININVEST GROUP as Head of Relations with Business Associations. Currently in Mediaset she holds the role of Director of the Institutional, Legal and Strategic Analysis Division.
Since 2007 she has been Vice President of RTI, on whose Board of Directors she has sat since 1999, and in April 2012 she was confirmed as a Member of the Board of Directors of Mediaset S.p.A., on which she has sat since 1998, and as a member of the Executive Committee.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Confindustria Radio Televisioni and is also Vice President of the Consorzio Campus Multimedia in formazione (a consortium created by Mediaset and the Libera UniversitĂ di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM), which manages the Masters in journalism.
Since November 2010, she has been Vice President of A.C.T. (Association of Commercial Television Europe). On 27 December 2012, she was awarded the honor of Commendatore dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.
