Jason Horowitz

He is the Rome Bureau Chief of The New York Times, responsible for Italy, the Vatican and Greece. He previously covered American politics in the paper’s Washington bureau, and joined the Times from The Washington Post, where he wrote profiles and features and covered the Obama presidency and national politics. Before that he worked as a staff reporter for The New York Observer. His writing has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, GQ Magazine, Vogue Magazine and other publications.
