He is the Rome Bureau Chief, Correspondent and Producer of NBC NEWS, the U.S. news network. He mainly covers Italy and related issues of migration, the Vatican and politics, and travel extensively across Europe to cover stories and issues largely related to terrorism. As an all-round reporter, He delivers lives in-vision, story packaging, articles for the web and updates on social media platforms, including Facebook Lives.

He shoots and edits his own material and He is a pioneer in Mobile Journalism, shooting full stories on iPhone for EURONEWS, an NBC NEWS partner news channel, including a 13 minutes long reportage on why migration became a key issue in the 2018 General Election.

He worked regularly as a freelance on-air correspondent for Al Jazeera English from Italy and the Vatican, with the occasional assignment abroad. He covered news on a wide spectrum of subjects as both a live and packaging reporter.

While He mainly worked with a cameraman and a producer on news stories, He occasionally shot, wrote and edited his own feature pieces. He also worked as Staff Deputy News Editor and Acting News Editor at Al Jazeera English where he contributed to the selection of stories and live guests for the hourly news bulletins while overlooking the work of crews on location and satellite bookings. He was also sent occasionally abroad as a field producer and live/package reporter, and wrote in-house reports on European stories of international interest.
