Culture, provocation, entertainment, and movie stars gather every year in May on the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival, the most exclusive film festival in the world, which monopolizes the attention of cultural journalism for ten days. Among the dozens of prominent names and critics crowding the press room, hoping to guess who will take home the prestigious Palme d’Or\u2014awarded last year to Anatomie d\u2019une chute<\/a><\/em> by Justine Triet<\/a>\u2014are also the interns from Zeta. <\/p>\n

Our student Valeria Verbaro was sent to the 2023 Festival<\/a>, where she had the opportunity to preview the films presented and participate in press conferences, with the chance to ask questions to the major actors present on the Croisette. <\/p>\n

The Cannes experience, following the evolution and changes in society, goes beyond auteur cinema, spanning from socially relevant films to more mainstream ones, such as the latest<\/a> Indiana Jones movie, which saw Harrison Ford unexpectedly awarded the Palme d’Or for his career. During the Festival, the entire Croisette is filled with stands and pop-up stores that can only be accessed with accreditation, like the Italy Pavilion, where the latest news from our cinema is showcased in advance. <\/p>\n
