Master in Journalism and Multimedia Communication

The Master in Journalism and Multimedia Communication offers scholarships as required by Article 5 of the “Framework of Guidelines” adopted on September 27, 2018, by the National Council of the Order of Journalists

The scholarships for the 2023/2025 academic years include the eleven listed in the announcement (presented in the table below) and two additional scholarships funded by the Luiss Data Lab and the Memorial Foundation for Peace. To apply for the Memorial Foundation scholarship, it is necessary to specify the basis for the application (the requirements are indicated in the application form).

The distribution of scholarships will be based on transparency criteria that combine students’ merit and their economic needs within a framework that promotes equality and diversity. The scholarships are accessible to all participants. The amount of each scholarship will proportionally reduce the installment fee, in the manner indicated by the Master’s Secretariat. The provision of two additional scholarships is currently being finalized. (*) Luiss Guido Carli, in collaboration with the Claudio Nobis Foundation, announces a scholarship that fully exempts the student from paying the contribution required by the University for the 2023/2025 academic years, to be awarded to the student enrolled in the Master in Journalism and Multimedia Communication who achieves the highest score in the final ranking for course admission. Claudio Nobis, a renowned journalist remembered for his profound humanity and passion for theater and cinema, left behind a legacy of investigations, articles, and journalistic campaigns. The Foundation in his memory was established to help talented young individuals embark on professional paths similar to those of Nobis, combining human and professional qualities.

Master in Journalism and Multimedia Communication

Luiss School of Journalism offers different scholarships, reduction and early bird discounts. Two full scholarships (15.000€) available for those who apply before July 31st and four partial scholarships (covering up to 5.000€) available for those who apply before September 15th. The scholarships are granted based on merit. All candidates are considered for this award. Candidates are assessed on: Academic track record (final grade, GPA), English proficiency, Proven expertise or personal acknowledgement, Certifications, International experience.

Executive course in multimedia journalism

For this second edition of the executive course in multimedia journalism, Luiss is offering three fully funded scholarships (€3,000), which will allow three deserving candidates to attend the course without any enrollment fees. All those who enroll in the course by November 8, 2024, will automatically be considered for the scholarship selection. Therefore, by completing the enrollment for the master’s program, you are automatically applying for the scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded based on merit, evaluating candidates based on their curriculum vitae and a preliminary interview. Candidates who demonstrate the greatest talent, motivation, and potential will be selected.
