Italian journalist and writer born in Rome in 1964. After studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Manchester College in Oxford, he graduated in Political Science and History at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome. A professional journalist since 1989, he worked for La Voce Repubblicana before becoming a correspondent for La Stampa from Jerusalem, Brussels but above all from New York. Specializing in foreign policy and international issues, from 2016 to 2020 he was the director of the Turin daily newspaper and since the same year he has been director of La Repubblica.
