Born in 1961. He is an editorialist on international politics for the “Corriere della Sera”. He was Advisor to the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano and Director of the Office for Press and Communication of the Quirinale, Consultant for Institutional and International Relations to the Minister for Technological Innovation and Assistant for Communication and External Relations to the CEO of Rai. As a presenter, curator and consultant for TV and radio programs he has collaborated with Rai, Mediaset, Sky. He has held various journalism courses. He has written for the “Corriere” since 1979. Hired as a reporter in 1982, he worked in the central editorial office in Milan, then in Rome in the Political service and was then Diplomatic Correspondent for more than 14 years with services from over 60 countries. Author of the book “Lavoro riservata. The Secret Drawers of the PCI” (Feltrinelli, 1997), “The Lockheed Case in Parliament” (2001) contained in the “History of Italy” by Einaudi and other publications, he has edited twentieth-century history, Italian and international politics for several editions of the Garzanti Universal Encyclopedia. He is a member of the Committee of Guarantors of the Institute of International Affairs (IAI), of the Scientific Committee of the Center for International Political Studies (CESPI), of the Steering Committee of the Ugo La Malfa Foundation. Knight of the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
