She has been writing for La Stampa since 1994, where she covers current affairs and customs, reporting on major news stories, personalities and trends in the newspaper’s pages. Sent to many parts of the world, she has followed tragic events and social events from the tsunami to royal weddings, to the vices, scandals and virtues of politicians, the various episodes of Vallettopoli, the tragedy of the Gravina brothers, the Avetrana crime. She has been entrusted with several regular color columns both in the cultural pages of the newspaper and in those of the Specchio magazine. In 2001, the book Cenerentole was published by Rizzoli. In 2004, she wrote the story Mitrokhin for Baldini Castoldi Dalai. In 2007, the investigative essay Ultimo tabù, true stories of secret loves in the church, a journey into the sexuality and hidden affection of priests, was published by Cairo. Also in 2007, Oscar Mondadori published Il racconto, within the collection of women’s stories Cuori di pietra. In May 2008, she published another story, again for Oscar Mondadori, within the collection Facce di bronzo. She teaches custom journalism at the Luiss-Guido Carli School of Journalism in Rome. In 2008, she won the Santa Margherita Ligure International Journalism Award for Culture in the Special Envoy section. In 2009, she was awarded the Simpatia Prize for Literature and Journalism at the Campidoglio. In 2010, she won the Igor Man Prize, the award given by the management of La Stampa for reporting on the places and memories of our soldiers who died in Afghanistan.
