Born in Algiers, then Florence and Rome. After graduating in philosophy, he attended the Master in journalism at Rai in Perugia.
He began collaborating with L’Espresso in 1996. Then L’Unità, Diario della Settimana, Tg3, Ansa.
He arrived at Radio Capital in 1998, first to cover politics, then at the central desk.
From 2006 to 2010, together with Paolo Garimberti and Massimo Giannini, he hosted the programs of Repubblica TV.
Since 2010, for 9 years, he has hosted Tg Zero on Radio Capital together with director Vittorio Zucconi.
Then with Lucia Annunziata, Michela Murgia and Mary Cacciola.
Since 2020 he has been the information director of Radio Capital.
