Alessandro Speciale is the Swiss bureau chief for Bloomberg News, based in Zurich and overseeing the Geneva bureau. Previously, he was a bureau chief in Rome and a reporter in Frankfurt covering the European Central Bank and German economics. Previously, he was a Vatican correspondent for 7 years, working for several Italian and American media, including Time magazine and Religion News Service. He has also worked in radio and as a television producer for live segments and documentaries for Al Jazeera English, NBC and the BBC.
