Born in Rome, journalist, graduated in Letters and has been working with photography for many years. He is vice-president of the Forma for the Photography Foundation of Milan since its creation (2005) and editorial director of the Contrasto publishing house in Rome.As curator, he has conceived and organized several photographic exhibitions, including William Klein – Rome, Mario Giacomelli – The black figure awaits the white, Mimmo Jodice – Lost in watching, Gordon Parks – An American story, Herb Ritts – In full light, Gianni Berengo Gardin and Elliott Erwitt – A friendship with silver salts, Walter Bonatti – Photographs from the great outdoors, Gianni Berengo Gardin – true photography, Nine photographers interpret the Vatican Museums (with Micol Forti) and many others. As editorial director of Contrasto, he edited and produced several books and catalogues. He teaches photography at DAMS of the University of Rome 3, the LUISS of Rome and collaborates with the Vatican Museums, Collection Contemporary Art, for a project on photography.
