Always a keen cyclist, she became a professional journalist on 18 October 1995. Member of the editorial staff of Rai Sport since 1992, where she was hired in August 1995, becomes special envoy in 2000, and since then is always present at the finish line of all major cycling events broadcast by Rai (Giro d’Italia, Tour de France), followed by over 30 editions in total. He also took part in four Summer Olympics and two Winter Games.

Since 2010 she is the first woman to lead Il processo alla tappa, the broadcast created by Sergio Zavoli on Rai 3 at the end of each stage of the pink race. In 2011 he published his book Giulia e Fausto, or the story of the secret love between Campionissimo and Dama Bianca. Since 2014 he has been hosting the Giro d’Italia TV programmes on RAI channels, leaving in 2019 after his appointment as deputy director of RAI Sport, only to return to the stage trial the following year.

In the summer of 2021, he will be hosting the broadcast Il circolo degli anelli on Rai 2, a commentary program on the day of the Tokyo Olympic Games.

From 2021 to 2023 she was director of Rai Sport.
