He graduated in Political Science at the University “Federico II” of Naples in 1986. He specialized in journalism at the University “Luiss” of Rome in 1989.
A professional journalist, he has been working for the daily newspaper “La Repubblica” since 1989.
For six years at Cronaca di Roma, he followed the municipal administrations Carraro and Rutelli; for five at Internal Politics, he dealt with Rai; he is now in the Economy section where he deals with consumer rights, television and telecommunications.
He brought the first Italian comic to the Internet (“Diabolik, eurocolpo in diretta tv”, 1998) to explain the advent of the single currency to the common citizen. He also created a multimedia history of the Italian lira (“Ragazzi, non c’è più una lira”, 2001) for Kataweb.it.
Also for Kataweb.it, he curated and hosted a web news program dedicated to digital TV (2001).
He collaborates with the Radio Capital news program and with Repubblica TV, a Gedi Group broadcaster.
He has taught at the Luiss School of Journalism, at the Luiss Master in Institutional Communication, at the Master in Journalism at the Lumsa University of Rome, at the Faculty of Communication Sciences at La Sapienza University of Rome, at the training courses for journalists that the professional order of Rome and Lazio organized in 2014 (Teatro Argentina, December 19) and in 2015 (Teatro Argentina, March 20), at the preparatory courses for the professional journalist exam organized by the professional order of Rome and Lazio (2016-2020).
