Journalist. Born in Rome on February 11, 1951, he graduated in philosophy and began writing for newspapers and magazines in the mid-Seventies. In 1981 he was hired by La Repubblica, where he was Foreign Editor-in-Chief, special correspondent, correspondent from the United States and editorialist. He collaborates with L’Espresso, La Stampa, Grazia and the local dailies of the Gedi Group. In 2002 he obtained the John S. Knight Fellowship for journalism from Stanford University in California. He is the author of the book ‘New York’ (Giunti, 2007).
