Mariangela Calia, actress and teacher, was born in Altamura in 1983 and in 2002 she moved to Rome where she obtained a Master’s Degree in “Literature and Philosophy” and specialized in “Forms and Techniques of Entertainment” in 2011 at the University “La Sapienza”. She graduated from the “Corrado Pani” theater academy founded by Pino Insegno, where she studied diction, acting, stage movement, dubbing, music, singing, history of costume and entertainment, fundamentals of directing. Over the years, she specialized her acting training through various workshops with national and international teachers and casting directors. In 2013 she won the “Massimo Troisi” award for best actress. She has worked in various theater, film and television fiction productions for Rai and Mediaset. Since 2014, she has also collaborated with Newton S.p.A., a management consulting, training and communication company. A teacher of diction and public speaking for actors and professionals in the entertainment and communication sectors, since 2015 he has taught diction at the Luiss School of Journalism.
