He was Extraordinary Commissioner for the implementation of the Digital Agenda of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers from August 2016 to November 2018, after having held the position of Senior Vice President of International Consumer Business in Amazon.com for 17 years. Previously, he worked for 12 years at Apple, including as GM of Apple Europe. Diego is a member of the Boards of the Economist Group, Apolitical and OODA health. He is also an advisor to KKR and Convoy. Diego is active in the non-profit sector and is a member of the boards of Bocconi University, and of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, of the Maasai Assosiation (Kenya), of Endeavor Italy and is a mentor for Endeavor Global. Diego graduated in Economics from Bocconi University, where he was named “Bocconian of the Year” in 2010.
