From 1987 to 1990 he worked in the commercial and marketing department of La Stampa in Turin. In 1991 he moved to the Espresso Group where he held various positions in the marketing sector of Repubblica. From 2003 to 2005 he was Deputy General Manager and Commercial Director of the La Repubblica Division. In 2006 he became General Manager of the Periodicals division of the GEDI Group. In 2011 he became General Manager of the National Press Division.
