Elena Musi is a senior professor in the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool. Before starting her university career, Elena worked as a language engineer for Alexa in the Amazon Alexa Applied Modelling and Data Science team (Cambridge, Massachusetts).
Elena’s current research intertwines Artificial Intelligence and Communication Sciences with the overall aim of examining debates on new technologies and their global impact from a critical perspective, with a particular focus on (mis)information and human-computer interaction. Elena is a member of the steering committee of ECA (European Conference Argumentation).
